No. This certificate is for non-federated sport (gym, running, crossfit, recreational sport). For federated or competitive sport you need the IPDJ sports medical exam, which we also provide online.
Yes. The certificate is signed by a doctor registered with the Ordem dos Médicos and has the same legal validity as one issued in person. It is accepted by gyms and recreational event organisers.
You book online, speak with the doctor by video call (about 15 minutes) and, if fitness is confirmed, receive the digitally signed certificate by email in PDF.
For recreational sport, usually not. If you have a cardiovascular history or other risk factors, the doctor may recommend further tests (such as an ECG) before issuing the certificate.
Yes. Kliniqa issues the physical fitness certificate for anyone in Portugal, regardless of nationality, with no GP or SNS number required. It is sent by email after the assessment.
