We provide home visits within a 20 km radius of our clinic in Vila Nova de Gaia (Av. Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles, 400, 4405-732). Coverage includes Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto, Matosinhos, Maia, Gondomar, Valongo, Espinho, Santa Maria da Feira and Vila do Conde. The system automatically checks your postal code at booking.

The price depends on location: €50 if the address is in Vila Nova de Gaia and within 5 km of the clinic, and €55 in Gaia 5–10 km or Porto within 5 km, €60 elsewhere within the 20 km radius. It includes travel, clinical assessment, prescription and certificate issuance if applicable, with no additional fees. The exact price is confirmed when you enter your postal code at booking.

Home visits are available from 10:00 to 16:00 and from 20:00 to 21:00. The 08:00–10:00 and 17:00–20:00 windows are excluded to avoid rush-hour traffic in the Porto metro area — so we arrive faster.

When you book, you simply enter your Portuguese postal code (format 0000-000). The system checks in real time whether it is within 20 km of the clinic in Vila Nova de Gaia and immediately shows the price for your address (€50 in V. N. Gaia within 5 km, €55 in Gaia 5–10 km or Porto within 5 km, €60 elsewhere). If it is outside the area, we suggest the urgent online consultation (€65) or the general video consultation (€45).

Yes. Every doctor we send has an active licence from the Portuguese Medical Council (Ordem dos Médicos) and can issue electronic prescriptions, sick leave (CIT), illness certificates and test requests during or right after the consultation, with full legal validity at any Portuguese pharmacy.

Arrival time depends on traffic and distance. On average, in Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto, the doctor arrives within 30 to 60 minutes. For more distant areas (Maia, Gondomar, Espinho) it can take up to 90 minutes. That is why we avoid rush hours — to reduce waiting.

For non-emergency situations (fever, moderate pain, vomiting, rashes, general malaise, mild respiratory infections), a home visit is faster, more comfortable and cheaper than hours of waiting in hospital A&E. For serious emergencies — severe chest pain, severe breathlessness, loss of consciousness, bleeding — always call 112.

Yes. Payment is processed online at booking, with credit/debit card or MB Way. You will receive an electronic invoice suitable for health insurance reimbursement or for Portuguese tax (IRS) health-expense deduction.
