We provide home visits within a 20 km radius of our clinic in Vila Nova de Gaia (Av. Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles, 400, 4405-732). Coverage includes Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto, Matosinhos, Maia, Gondomar, Valongo, Espinho, Santa Maria da Feira and Vila do Conde. The system automatically checks your postal code at booking.

The price depends on location: €50 if the address is in Vila Nova de Gaia and within 5 km of the clinic, and €55 in Gaia 5–10 km or Porto within 5 km, €60 elsewhere within the 20 km radius. It includes travel, full paediatric assessment, prescription with age- and weight-adapted dosing, and issuance of school certificates or parent sick leave, with no additional fees. The exact price is confirmed when you enter your postal code.

When physical examination of the child is needed - auscultation, abdominal palpation, skin and throat/ear examination. Especially useful for persistent fever, gastroenteritis with vomiting, suspected ear infections, extensive rashes, and babies or toddlers who get distressed in health centres.

Yes. The doctor has an active Ordem dos Médicos licence and issues electronic prescriptions with dosing adapted to the child's age and weight, with full legal validity at any Portuguese pharmacy - during or right after the consultation.

Depends on traffic and distance. On average, in Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto, the doctor arrives within 30 to 60 minutes. More distant areas (Maia, Gondomar, Espinho) can take up to 90 minutes. That is why we exclude rush hours.

For non-emergency situations (moderate fever, suspected ear infection, mild gastroenteritis, rashes, general malaise, mild respiratory infections), the home visit avoids hours of waiting at A&E and is more comfortable for the child. For serious emergencies - prolonged seizure, severe breathing difficulty, loss of consciousness, suspected toxic ingestion - call 112.

Yes. The doctor issues a digital school absence justification after the consultation, with full legal validity. The doctor can also issue a CIT (sick leave) for a parent who needs to stay home with the child.

Yes. Payment is processed online at booking, with credit/debit card or MB Way. You will receive an electronic invoice suitable for health insurance reimbursement or for Portuguese tax (IRS) health-expense deduction.
